Moreno addresses fall prevention in Occupational Health and Safety Magazine

Atlas Field Services’ Jose Moreno, Director of Safety Operations—Western Region (dev note: link to bio), wrote an article for Occupational Health and Safety Magazine on what companies can do to change their safety culture and boost fall prevention tactics. His article, “Fall Prevention: Compliance is Not a Control,” appeared in the June 2019 issue of OHS and addressed importance of turning safety into a workplace lifestyle where employees can be trusted to act with prevention-minded instincts. According to Jose, compliance is not control and employees should feel comfortable that the right controls are in place regardless of regulation standards. Fall prevention success comes when employees treat safety as the foundation of a project instead of a required burden.
